DECLAN McManus was the star of the show as The New Saints hammered Haverfordwest County 6-0 at Park Hall.

McManus, who joined TNS from Dunfermline Athletic in the summer, notched a hat-trick to take his tally for the season in all competitions to 18.

Ryan Brobbel, Danny Redmond and Dean Ebbe were also on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Another prolific scorer, Michael Wilde, was also on target at the weekend, scoring Flint’s first in their 3-1 defeat of Penybont.

Jack Kenny added a second and made sure of the win late on after James Waite had halved the deficit.

Newtown got back to winning ways and marked eight years in the manager’s seat for Chris Hughes with an Aaron Williams-inspired victory at Cefn Druids.

Williams, like McManus, grabbed a hat-trick, and Nick Rushton found the net twice in a comfortable 5-0 triumph at The Rock.

Harry Franklin’s 85th-minute equaliser gave Aberystwyth a share of the spoils at Barry after the Cymru Premier player of the month for October, Kayne McLaggon, opened the scoring.

A Darren Thomas goal midway through the first half gave Caernarfon three points at Cardiff Met.

And Callum Morris (2), Ryan Harrington and Craig Curran netted in a 4-0 Nomads win at Bala to lift the reigning champions to seventh in the table.
