Staff at the Panasonic plant in Cardiff are set to go on strike from tomorrow.

The GMB Union has announced more walk outs in the wake of ongoing pay disputes between staff and management at the electronics giant.

Workers will strike on November 22 and 29th, and December 6, with further dates expected.

Last Monday, workers gathered at the Cardiff plant to demonstrate, after Panasonic withdrew its pay offer and pulled out of pay talks altogether.

The campaign for better pay for Panasonic workers has seen support from local politcians such as Jo Stevens MP, Anna McMorin MP and Julie Morgan MS.

Nicola Savage, GMB regional organiser said: “This issue isn’t going away.

“Our members deserve a real pay rise, and we will fight until we get them one.
